TL;DR

US Training Manager (Manufacturing): Designing and leading structured training and development programs for hourly production team members across U.S. operations with an accent on onboarding and cross-training. Focus on building 30-60-90 day onboarding experiences and sustainable skill validation processes to improve retention and operational continuity.

Location: Must be based in Leawood, KS, USA, with 30-40% travel to U.S. manufacturing and distribution sites

What you will do

  • Design and standardize a 30-60-90 day onboarding program for all hourly and production roles.
  • Develop cross-training matrices and certification processes to enable workforce flexibility and reduce single-point dependency.
  • Build and maintain role-based training materials and job instruction guides across various sites.
  • Partner with Safety and Quality leaders to integrate safe work practices into all training modules.
  • Track and analyze training effectiveness through metrics such as retention and time to proficiency.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in training, manufacturing operations, or workforce development.
  • Proven experience working with hourly/production teams in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Organizational Development, or Operations (or 6 years of relevant experience).
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and skills development.

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
