TL;DR

Federal Additive Manufacturing Strategist: Defining federal growth strategy and building relationships across DoD, prime contractors, and the broader federal acquisition community with an accent on target customer identification, pursuit prioritization, and multi-year revenue planning. Focus on shaping activity early in the acquisition cycle to influence requirements, evaluation criteria, and competitive positioning.

Location: On-site in Los Angeles, CA

Salary: $200,000 - $250,000

What you will do

  • Define federal growth strategy in partnership with AM leadership and the hirify.global Federal team.
  • Operate as the dedicated AM partner inside the hirify.global Federal team's customer motion.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior decision-makers across the DoD AM customer landscape.
  • Develop and lead capture campaigns with defense primes.
  • Lead proposal strategy and technical narrative development for AM-specific pursuits.
  • Ensure AM pursuits are accurately represented and maintained within the hirify.global Federal team's pipeline.

Requirements

  • Senior military operational background (O-6 or above) with subsequent industry capture, BD, or program leadership experience.
  • Prior experience as a federal program or product leader inside a defense technology, aerospace, or advanced manufacturing company.
  • Direct relationships with flag, SES, SPE, and senior acquisition leadership across NAVSEA, AFRL, SOCOM, DIU, OSD, MDA, or equivalent agencies.
  • Strong technical fluency to engage credibly with AM engineering and program leaders, customers, and primes.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State due to ITAR requirements.
