Salary: $130,000 – $180,000

What you will do

• Build and scale high-throughput APIs and services processing over 50 million daily events.
• Own features end-to-end, from initial design to production deployment.
• Improve overall system performance, reliability, and security.
• Contribute to core architecture decisions and the company's technical direction.
• Mentor junior engineers as you progress toward a leadership role.

Requirements

• 6–10 years of experience in backend or full-stack engineering.
• Strong fundamentals in APIs, distributed systems, and debugging.
• Experience with modern web stacks (JavaScript combined with any OOP backend).
• Ability to work hybrid in the DC area.
• Authorized to work in the US.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with JavaScript, Python, PHP, Java, or C++.
• Experience with React, REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, AWS, and Docker.
