What you will do

• Design, build, and scale software systems as a generalist across both backend and frontend.
• Own large-scale systems and projects end-to-end to drive long-term technical success.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Client Solutions teams to deliver impactful user features.
• Implement AI and LLMs to accelerate development and power innovative product capabilities.
• Improve internal engineering systems, focusing on testing, deployment, and observability.
• Mentor other engineers and participate in on-call rotations for production systems.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• B.S. or higher in computer science or equivalent industry experience.
• Expertise in at least one modern language such as TypeScript, Python, or Golang.
• Experience with relational databases, cloud infrastructure, and distributed systems.
• Must be located in New York, NY (indicated by office-specific benefits).

Nice to have

• Proficiency with React, NodeJS, GraphQL, AWS, PostgreSQL, or Terraform.
• Experience in health-tech or early-stage software companies.
• Track record of building and operating LLM-powered products in production.
