What you will do

• Own and prioritize the hirify.global Database roadmap, making explicit tradeoffs based on customer reality.
• Drive product direction for technical core areas including schema, storage, filtering, replication, and cluster topology.
• Translate applied research in search quality and new retrieval modes into shippable features with clear use cases.
• Optimize developer adoption by shaping MCP, client SDKs, and other integrations.
• Run ongoing discovery with developers and enterprise customers to reduce time-to-value.
• Collaborate with GTM and Cloud teams to ensure seamless positioning and delivery of new capabilities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years on developer-facing or infrastructure products.
• Proven ability to own and manage a complex technical roadmap across multiple workstreams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience running customer discovery and translating qualitative signals into product decisions.
• Comfortable working within distributed systems or data infrastructure domains.
• Track record of successful cross-functional collaboration with engineering, design, and GTM teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with databases, search infrastructure, or AI/ML developer tooling.
• Familiarity with vector search, embeddings, or RAG workflows.
• Experience working at an open-source or developer tools company.
• Background managing both enterprise customers and a community-driven/self-serve motion.
