What you will do

• Act as the technical lead on Information Security for the organization.
• Design, develop, and implement security solutions to reduce cyber risk in line with the risk management framework.
• Own and evolve existing Cyber Security solutions used across the company.
• Respond to and manage security incidents efficiently.
• Support the Head of Information Security in delivering the Cyber Security Strategy and Roadmap.

Requirements

• Strong technical experience in cybersecurity, specifically in hybrid environments (AWS and on-prem).
• Expertise in deploying security solutions such as NGFW, NGAV, SIEM, UEBA, and vulnerability scanners.
• Experience in designing and securing cloud architectures.
• Proven track record in vulnerability and patch management.
• Must be based in the UK to attend offices in London, Cambridge, or Leeds.

Nice to have

• Experience with Ansible, SALT, Terraform, and DevOps tools (GitLab, Jira).
• Proficiency in Linux environments.
• CISM or CISSP certifications.
• Knowledge of Cyber Essentials Plus, ISO27001, or the NIST Security Framework.
• Degree in computer science or software engineering.
