Associate AI Security Specialist (AI Security): Supporting the secure design, implementation, and adoption of AI systems and applications across the Group with an accent on embedding security controls and understanding attacker exploitation of AI. Location: Hybrid (Leeds, Bristol, Edinburgh, Manchester, London). Must spend at least two days per week at an office site.

Salary: £48,987 - £66,000 per annum

What you will do

• Support the secure design, implementation, and adoption of AI systems across the organization.
• Embed security controls to enable safe and effective use of AI.
• Analyze attacker use and exploitation methods targeting AI.
• Apply AI technologies to enhance overall security capabilities.
• Translate security requirements into actionable technical guidance for engineering teams.

Requirements

• Degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, AI, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in cyber security or technology risk, preferably with AI, data, or cloud exposure.
• Strong understanding of IAM, secure application design, and data protection.
• Awareness of public cloud security concepts and tools.
• Knowledge of security frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST, or UK GDPR.
• Must be based in the UK and able to work hybridly from specified office locations.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with public cloud security tooling.
• Deep understanding of generative AI use cases.
