Location: Hybrid (UK). Must be based in or near Edinburgh, Bristol, Leeds, London, or Manchester, spending at least 40% of time (2 days per week) in the office.

Salary: £92,701 - £130,000 per annum

What you will do

• Design and deliver secure engineering patterns, controls, and tooling to protect the Group's AI and ML ecosystem.
• Take hands-on technical ownership of complex problem spaces, working directly on code, automation, and platform design.
• Influence security direction and embed best practices across AI security engineering in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Champion secure-by-design architectures and embed DevSecOps practices across the organization.
• Secure the adoption of generative AI, agentic systems, and automation at scale.

Requirements

• Experience as a senior security engineer leading initiatives in a DevSecOps environment.
• Strong expertise in securing AI/ML systems at scale, including model lifecycle security and data pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with ML stacks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, MLflow, Kubeflow, Vertex AI, or Azure ML.
• Solid understanding of cloud-native and containerized architectures, specifically Kubernetes and serverless technologies.
• Experience operating in complex hybrid environments (public cloud, private cloud, and on-premise).
• Proficiency in building automation and engineering tooling using Python or Go.
