Staff Security Engineer

TL;DR

Staff Security Engineer (Cybersecurity): Implementing security controls and automating remediation activities to enhance the security posture of hirify.global systems across cloud and code. Focus on reducing organizational risks, improving compliance with security best practices, and proactively assisting in identifying and remediating security issues.

Location: Hub Based - Hybrid for all. You’ll be assigned to the closest one of our three hub offices, Bristol, Glasgow, or London.

Salary: £80,000 - £100,000

What you will do

• Enhance the security posture of hirify.global systems across cloud and code through security control implementation, monitoring, and management.
• Utilize security tooling and processes to reduce organizational risks and improve compliance with security best practices and widely recognized standards.
• Collaborate with other teams to proactively assist in the identification, remediation, and response to security issues and gaps.

Requirements

• Expert experience.
• Hands-on Staff Engineer who takes a user-centered design approach to build and administer automated security verification workflows.
• Embrace failure and do not shy away from difficult conversations in order to drive business and cyber risk strategy and security architecture alignment.
• Committed to ongoing personal and team development, for example evangelising a secure and safe digital experience with clear and direct written and verbal communication.
