What you will do

• Perform daily bookkeeping and reconcile incoming and outgoing payments.
• Review and record supplier invoices in accordance with Belgian GAAP.
• Support monthly and annual financial closing processes.
• Ensure correct VAT treatment and assist with periodic VAT filings.
• Prepare data for Corporate Income Tax and maintain compliance across international jurisdictions.
• Collaborate on automating operational finance processes and building financial infrastructure.

Requirements

• Must be based in Belgium due to local accounting and tax regulations.
• Prior experience in an accounting role, ideally within a Belgian SaaS company.
• Solid understanding of BE GAAP, Belgian VAT regulations, and Corporate Income Tax.
• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
• Professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive financial information.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of SaaS billing and subscription systems like Chargebee or Hubspot.
• Experience with Exact Online.
