What you will do
- Manage the full lifecycle of chargeback disputes, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Investigate transactions across multiple data sources to compile compelling evidence for representments.
- Prepare professional rebuttal letters and submit disputes via payment processors and internal tools.
- Analyze chargeback patterns to identify fraud, root causes, and opportunities for prevention.
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to resolve disputes and gather necessary evidence.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance win rates and reduce future chargebacks.
Requirements
- Strong analytical and investigative mindset with high attention to detail.
- Excellent written English and ability to create structured, professional documentation.
- Ability to interpret and apply complex policies to real-world scenarios.
- Experience in chargebacks, payments, fraud analysis, or operations.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple tools and synthesize information under deadlines.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with payment processors such as Stripe, Adyen, or PayPal.
- Understanding of card network rules and reason codes.
- Experience in eCommerce, fintech, or fraud prevention.
- Exposure to CRM tools and customer support workflows.
