What you will do

• Record journal entries, including cash receipts, disbursements, and general ledger transactions.
• Process and post vendor invoices, employee expenses, and payroll entries.
• Perform monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations to resolve discrepancies.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes and prepare closing schedules.
• Prepare operational accounting reports and maintain organized electronic and physical financial files.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial operations.
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting processes.
• Experience with ERP and accounting systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, ASPEL, or CONTPAQi.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookup functions.
• Must be based in Mexico

Nice to have

• CPA designation or progress toward certification.
• Experience working in fintech, financial services, or fast-growing companies.
