What you will do

• Own and drive design strategy across the core product portfolio in partnership with product and engineering leadership.
• Set and maintain a high craft bar for interaction design, systems thinking, and visual execution.
• Build, lead, and mentor a team of product designers while managing org design and resourcing.
• Translate complex technical AI capabilities into simple, intuitive, and trustworthy user experiences.
• Establish best practices for decision-making and design culture within a high-stakes environment.
• Represent design in high-level strategic conversations with executive leadership.

Requirements

• 10-12+ years of experience in Product Design with 7+ years of direct people management.
• Proven experience designing and shipping AI-powered or highly technical products.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating leadership of complex products from concept through launch.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate trade-offs across scope, quality, and speed.
• Must be based in or able to work from New York.
