What you will do

• Manage legal relationships with marketing, policy, and procurement teams, advising on deals and risk mitigation.
• Advise on marketing programs, including contests, giveaways, and influencer marketing, ensuring legal compliance.
• Draft and negotiate commercial, vendor, partnership, and licensing agreements.
• Develop scalable processes, templates, and playbooks to enable efficient deal execution.
• Create training materials and internal guidelines to improve legal self-service for cross-functional partners.
• Optimize legal operations and reporting using CLM tools.

Requirements

• 6-8+ years of in-house legal experience, preferably at a consumer technology company.
• Proven track record in commercial contracting and marketing compliance in fast-paced environments.
• Experience managing stakeholders across legal, product, marketing, and finance teams.
• Ability to independently handle complex or ambiguous legal matters and structure deals.
• Strong project management skills with a history of building scalable legal processes.
• Must reside in or be able to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area

Nice to have

• Experience at a social media, gaming, or creator economy platform.
• Familiarity with digital advertising agreements and agency relationships.
• Deep knowledge of US and international privacy law as applied to marketing.
• Passion for experimenting with AI tools to improve legal output.
• Experience implementing CLM systems.
