Salary: $101,000 – $189,000

What you will do
- Design and evolve a modular, global test framework supporting unit, integration, system, and simulation-based testing.
- Architect scalable simulation environments and virtual testbeds with seamless HIL/SIL integration for spacecraft dynamics.
- Establish common testing strategies, data formats, and reporting standards across global engineering regions.
- Build and standardize automated test pipelines within CI/CD workflows to ensure reliable and reproducible tests.
- Optimize test systems for high data throughput and long-duration runs of thousands of simulated missions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the adoption of the test framework and identify technical risks.
Requirements
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with a significant focus on test systems or infrastructure.
- Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or Java.
- Proven experience with automated testing, CI/CD systems, and software V&V principles.
- Familiarity with ITAR/EAR requirements for sharing technical data internationally.
- Must be based in or able to work from Englewood, Colorado.
Nice to have
- Experience with simulation environments such as MATLAB/Simulink, ROS, or custom platforms.
- Background in safety-critical industries like aerospace, automotive, robotics, or defense.
- Knowledge of distributed systems, cloud-based test infrastructure, and LabVIEW.
- Familiarity with orbital mechanics, control theory, and embedded flight software constraints.
