Salary: $112,710 - $169,060

What you will do

• Lead the development of new telematics-focused technology solutions for the Earthmoving Division.
• Develop and refine software requirements for complex control and telematics systems.
• Create sensing, planning, and control algorithms to support machine automation.
• Integrate advanced controls into embedded software environments.
• Plan and execute on-machine software and controls testing to validate performance.
• Represent the division in corporate telematics strategy and collaborate with internal business units.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• Must be able to work onsite 5 days a week in Peoria, Illinois.
• Experience with software development tools and producing production-ready software solutions.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Visa sponsorship is available for this role.

Nice to have

• Experience with telematics hardware and wireless data transmission.
• Background in developing real-time embedded software for mobile, industrial, or off-highway applications.
• Proficiency in Python, Matlab/Simulink, C++, or ROS.
• Familiarity with VisionLink interfaces and machine data log analysis.
