What you will do

• Define and develop comprehensive test plans based on requirements and set pass/fail criteria.
• Implement test plans across multiple layers, including HiL, Dyno, and Vehicle.
• Define tooling needs to execute tests and evaluate results efficiently.
• Collaborate with system, firmware, and hardware engineers to ensure implementations meet product requirements.
• Investigate firmware issues through detailed data analysis and issue reproduction.

Requirements

• BS degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer or Systems Engineering.
• 2+ years of experience in developing or testing embedded software.
• Proficiency in test automation with Python or other scripting languages.
• Experience writing code with source control (Git).
• Hands-on technical experience debugging complex systems involving networked microprocessors.
• Experience parsing and analyzing log data and source code to identify root causes.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of drive units, power steering, actuators, braking systems, or powertrain.
• Experience with Python testing frameworks such as Robot or pytest.
• Experience with continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) systems.
• Experience using tools like JIRA, TestRail, Polarion, JAMA, Doors, or XRAY.
• Ability to develop test plans based on FMEA or vehicle safety concepts analysis.
