Salary: $165,000 - $190,000 annually

What you will do

• Design and maintain high-performance data collectors, REST APIs, and web services.
• Act as a technical lead by gathering requirements, conducting technical investigations, and designing systems.
• Optimize database queries and I/O operations for PostgreSQL and Neo4j to ensure peak performance.
• Collaborate with frontend developers and product owners to integrate backend services into the overall architecture.
• Implement security best practices to safeguard sensitive data.
• Perform code reviews and troubleshoot system failures, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software design and application development experience.
• 5+ years of backend web application development experience.
• Strong experience with Python, Go, or C#.
• Proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and graph databases (Neo4j).
• Must be authorized to work and reside in the United States; no immigration sponsorship provided.
• Ability to successfully complete a criminal background investigation.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with React and TypeScript.
• Background in penetration testing or administering Active Directory/Azure.
• Contributions to open-source projects.
