What you will do

• Design and build a scalable data private cloud platform leveraging Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• Configure compute, storage, and networking layers to support multi-tenant data workloads for 70+ tenants.
• Enable tenant onboarding by defining access models, resource allocation, and environment setup.
• Design and implement observability frameworks using Grafana, Prometheus, and other monitoring tools.
• Develop automation solutions for platform provisioning and deployments via Terraform, Helm, and Argo CD.
• Implement platform-level security and compliance controls to ensure a production-ready environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency with Kubernetes (preferably OpenShift) and Linux.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Helm, and GitOps practices (Argo CD).
• Experience designing observability solutions with Grafana, Prometheus, BigPanda, or PagerDuty.
• Experience using ServiceNow for enterprise workflows.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid (3 days per week onsite) in Charlotte, NC.

Nice to have

• Experience with object storage and execution engines such as Spark or Trino.
• Knowledge of table formats like Iceberg or Hive and metadata lineage tools like Datahub.
• Expertise in OpenShift ingress/egress control and secure north-south traffic patterns.
• Experience with network segmentation and Kubernetes/OpenShift Network Policies.
