What you will do

• Diagnose and drive security program maturity through prioritized multi-quarter roadmaps and governance metrics.
• Implement security-by-design standards, including shift-left practices, threat modeling, and architecture reviews.
• Manage the compliance surface for HIPAA and financial controls to reduce actual risk exposure.
• Develop the AI security framework, including principles, review processes, and accountability structures.
• Facilitate alignment between security, engineering, compliance, legal, and finance to eliminate operational toil.

Requirements

• 10+ years in technical program management with staff-level scope in high-stakes security programs.
• Deep fluency in security frameworks, controls, HIPAA, and financial-specific obligations.
• Strong technical judgment to challenge architectural decisions and identify real risk.
• Proven track record of transforming security programs and advancing maturity.
• Ability to influence senior security, engineering, and executive stakeholders without direct authority.

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare or other highly regulated environments.
• Track record of building security governance and operating models from the ground up.
• Familiarity with AI and ML risk frameworks and emerging AI governance practices.
• Experience working in a high-growth company scaling its security foundation.
