Location: Remote, must be based in Virginia or Maryland (unassisted relocation possible)

Salary: $140,000 – $200,000 (OTE)

What you will do

• Own the technical presales experience for Federal and SLED accounts, from evaluation and demos to architecture design and onboarding.
• Deliver tailored product demos aligned with customer security standards and compliance needs (FedRAMP, DoD IL2/4/5).
• Act as a technical translator between Sales and Product teams to surface feature gaps and actionable feedback.
• Manage RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires, providing compliance-aligned technical responses.
• Troubleshoot customer technical issues including endpoint configuration, networking challenges, and integrations.
• Develop reusable content, battlecards, and lab environments to scale federal engagements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Technical Consultant within the Public Sector Enterprise space.
• Proficiency with Windows environments, and working knowledge of Linux and macOS systems.
• Solid foundation in networking and security concepts (firewalls, VPN, DNS, endpoint protections).
• Familiarity with FedRAMP, DoD Impact Levels, and NIST frameworks.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance is required.
• Must be based in or be able to relocate to Virginia or Maryland.

• Technical certifications such as Security+, MCSE, or CISSP.
• Hands-on experience with RMM tools and ITSM platforms.
