Backend Developer (Node.js/TypeScript)

Location: Hybrid in Stockholm, Sweden (at least three days a week in the office)

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and deploy backend production services for the Account Sharing Prevention team.
• Participate in the full product lifecycle to deliver high-quality user experiences across platforms.
• Collaborate within a cross-functional, metrics-driven team aligned with long-term technical vision.
• Build in-house solutions using native and cross-platform languages.
• Continuously challenge the status quo and integrate cutting-edge technologies.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Experience designing and maintaining REST or service-to-service APIs.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFront, and ECS.
• Experience with Docker and containerized applications.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitHub Actions.

Nice to have

• Experience with Rust or willingness to learn.
• Eagerness to explore AI and evolve craft alongside new tools.
• Experience with DynamoDB data modelling and performance considerations.
• Knowledge of distributed systems or microservice-based architectures.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools or AWS deployment patterns.
