What you will do

• Own the technical logic behind loyalty points, rewards, and incentives across various markets.
• Lead a major technical transition toward event-driven and service-oriented architectures.
• Solve complex backend and architectural challenges to improve scalability and performance.
• Drive technical initiatives and improve engineering practices across multiple teams.
• Mentor other engineers and help shape the overall engineering culture.

Requirements

• Strong technical depth in backend development using C#, .NET, Java, Kotlin, Go, or similar.
• Experience with distributed systems, cloud-native services, and event-driven architectures.
• Proficiency with REST APIs, asynchronous workflows, and message brokers like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Azure Service Bus.
• Experience with SQL databases, transactional consistency, and scalable data handling.
• Right to work in the EU without limitations is required.

Nice to have

• Experience within loyalty, incentives, retail, fintech, or large-scale transactional systems.
