What you will do

• Design, implement, and operate production network infrastructure in a hybrid on-prem and AWS environment.
• Build and manage AWS networking services, including VPCs, Transit Gateways, Cloud WAN, and Route 53.
• Automate network infrastructure deployment and evolution using Terraform and Ansible.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve complex network incidents in production.
• Collaborate with architects, security, and platform teams to ensure system reliability.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to support business-critical environments.

Requirements

• Professional experience as a Network Engineer in a high-load production environment.
• Strong expertise in enterprise routing and switching (e.g., Cisco, Arista) and firewalls/VPNs (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet).
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, VXLAN, and network security principles.
• Practical experience with AWS networking and Route 53.
• Proficiency in using Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
• Ability to operate within change management processes and handle on-call responsibilities.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS Cloud WAN or other cloud provider technologies.
• Network automation and scripting skills.
• Knowledge of compliance standards such as PCI DSS or ISO.
• Experience with network observability and monitoring tools.
