What you will do

• Design and implement real-time VFX using 2D and 3D elements for gameplay, environments, and cinematics.
• Develop FX textures and build node-based shaders to support high-quality visual outcomes.
• Create geometry and UV layouts required for seamless real-time FX integration.
• Orchestrate visual effects across scenes to enhance timing and layering for storytelling.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment with artistic direction and engine integration.
• Coordinate with external vendors by preparing technical briefs and asset packages.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in VFX or game development.
• Strong proficiency with Maya and Houdini, including simulation and rigging.
• Solid experience with Photoshop for texture creation and editing.
• Deep understanding of node-based shader systems and real-time FX pipelines.
• Knowledge of FX optimization techniques for performance and memory constraints.
• Must be based in the United States.
