Company
is a volunteer-based, all-online, global game development team currently creating an indie open-world RPG, The Lays of Althas: Sundered Order, using Unreal Engine 5.
What you will do
- Create high-quality textured 3D assets including architecture, clothing, armor, weapons, shields, and tools.
- Develop low-poly, game-ready assets optimized for Unreal Engine 5.
- Collaborate with the team through Slack and Trello to ensure a smooth pipeline.
- Provide and incorporate constructive criticism and feedback.
- Mentor junior team members in relevant technical areas if comfortable with teaching.
- Attend team meetings and follow internal orientation policies.
Requirements
- Proficiency in high-quality 3D hard-surface modeling.
- Experience with Physically-based Rendering (PBR) and creating game-ready low-poly assets.
- Full texturing capability (Diffuse, Normal, Displacement, etc.).
- Ability to work accurately from pre-defined concept art and designs.
- English fluency is a must.
- Unable to provide work visas.

- Experience teaching or mentoring junior artists.
