What you will do

• Develop and maintain backend services, including APIs and event-driven systems, for the purchasing platform.
• Drive performance improvements and scalability for core services using Java, Spring, and PostgreSQL.
• Collaborate with product teams to implement new features and enhance order processing workflows.
• Manage critical services such as Order Service and Provisioning Service.
• Participate in technical design reviews and mentor junior team members to foster engineering excellence.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in backend development using Java or similar object-oriented languages.
• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, and software design principles.
• Proven experience with SpringBoot, Java, and relational databases.
• Familiarity with event-driven systems and messaging tools like Kafka.
• Ability to take technical ownership, lead complex projects, and influence architectural direction.
