What you will do

• Design and ship end-to-end production AI features including RAG, agents, and document understanding.
• Drive technical architecture for the AI product line, focusing on LLM orchestration, observability, and cost-reliability tradeoffs.
• Own AI initiatives from specification through production rollout and post-launch evaluation.
• Build and evolve evaluation frameworks to measure and improve AI feature quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape AI features that deliver real business value at scale.
• Mentor engineers on AI engineering practices and provide architectural feedback.

Requirements

• 8+ years of commercial software engineering experience, with strong proficiency in Python.
• 3+ years of experience shipping LLM/GenAI features to production at scale.
• Hands-on experience with RAG in production and agent orchestration using frameworks like LangGraph.
• Strong system design skills for LLM applications, including latency, cost, and reliability management.
• Experience with observability and evaluation tools for LLM systems such as Langfuse or Arize.
• English proficiency: B2 (Upper-Intermediate).

Nice to have

• Experience with document understanding, OCR, or structured data extraction.
• Proficiency with Postgres and pgvector at scale.
• Familiarity with LLM proxy patterns like LiteLLM.
• Previous experience in a technical leadership or mentoring role.
