What you will do

  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities with banks and financial institutions in Serbia and the surrounding region.
  • Manage and grow existing banking client accounts, focusing on expansion opportunities and delivery satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior decision-makers, including C-suite and IT leadership.
  • Conduct sales presentations and negotiations tailored to banking procurement and technology investment cycles.
  • Collaborate with technical and domain teams to formulate proposals and ensure client expectations are met.
  • Stay current on banking regulations (NBS, PSD2/PSD3, DORA, Basel) and technology trends like AI in FSI.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in technology sales for the banking sector or a commercial role within a bank.
  • Deep domain credibility and understanding of how banks plan and procure technology.
  • Strong knowledge of the Serbian banking landscape, including key institutions and regulatory environments.
  • Familiarity with core banking systems, digital channels, AI/ML, and cloud infrastructure.
  • English proficiency at C1 level and fluency in Serbian.
  • Must be based in Belgrade or Novi Sad and able to travel to client sites.
