What you will do

• Design and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases for backend services and integrations
• Execute manual and automated tests for complex data flows related to availability, rates, and inventory
• Validate data consistency across distributed systems and multiple integration points
• Identify, document, and track defects while collaborating with engineers on resolution
• Contribute to the test automation strategy and improve existing test coverage
• Support release activities by performing regression and integration testing

Requirements

• Commercial experience in QA engineering focusing on backend or integration testing
• Experience in the travel or hospitality domain (PMS, CRS, or booking engines)
• Strong understanding of API testing and distributed systems behavior
• Experience with relational databases and writing SQL queries for data validation
• Familiarity with agile development processes and defect management workflows
• Experience working with Microsoft-based technology stacks

Nice to have

• Experience with test automation frameworks for .NET based systems
• Exposure to event-driven architectures and message-based integrations
• Experience testing systems deployed on Microsoft Azure
• Knowledge of performance or load testing in high-throughput environments
