What you will do

• Design and execute functional and non-functional testing strategies.
• Perform manual and automated testing for frontend and backend applications.
• Collaborate with agile teams to define acceptance criteria and test plans.
• Manage defects, testing documentation, and software quality metrics.
• Support automation initiatives, CI/CD processes, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Academic background in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science obtained in Ecuador.
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies (ISTQB Foundation Level / AT) and QA best practices.
• Experience in test automation and performance testing using tools such as SerenityBDD, Cucumber, Karate, JMeter, Appium, and K6.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, Azure DevOps, and databases (SQL, Oracle, DB2, PostgreSQL).

Nice to have

• Experience with BDD methodologies.
• Knowledge of data analytics applied to QA.
