QC Manual Engineer

Location: Must be based in Mexico. Role requires coverage across U.S. timezones (PST, MST, CST, EST).

What you will do

• Analyze and troubleshoot production issues impacting live hiring events.
• Validate APIs and integrations using Postman.
• Perform functional, regression, and end-to-end testing for hiring event workflows.
• Collaborate with Client Support, GTM, and engineering teams to resolve client issues.
• Monitor production systems and assist with incident triage and validation.
• Validate backend data using SQL and troubleshoot data inconsistencies.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of strong experience with manual testing and end-to-end workflows.
• Hands-on experience with Postman for API testing and response validation.
• Strong SQL skills for backend data validation and troubleshooting.
• Experience documenting defects and test results in Jira.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.
• Must be based in Mexico with availability to cover U.S. timezones.

Nice to have

• Experience using Datadog for log review and monitoring.
• Familiarity with Kafka and asynchronous workflow validation.
• Exposure to MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and release validation.
