DevOps Engineer (AWS)

Location: Košice, Slovakia; remote working is available only within Slovakia due to European taxation regulations.

Salary: from €2,100 gross per month; final salary is negotiable and depends on seniority and previous experience, with variable compensation and other financial benefits.

What you will do

• Build and maintain Terraform Infrastructure as Code for AWS services, including compute, containers, databases, networking, and security.
• Manage GitLab repositories, runners, project structure, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate EC2 provisioning and configuration with Ansible.
• Build and maintain Docker, container, and AMI images.
• Integrate infrastructure with Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch, and Loki, maintaining alerting rules, dashboards, and observability standards.
• Manage AWS certificates, troubleshoot infrastructure and pipeline issues, perform incident analysis, and collaborate with development teams on releases.

Requirements

• 3+ years of DevOps experience.
• Hands-on experience with AWS compute, networking, security, and databases.
• Experience with Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and image lifecycle management.
• Knowledge of GitLab CI/CD pipeline engineering and familiarity with Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, and CloudWatch.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and following DevOps principles.
• English at B2 level and availability to work from Slovakia for the remote arrangement.
