What you will do

• Develop and execute Alpaca/Vicuña procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and sustainability.
• Build and expand a global network of suppliers, including tanneries and specialty producers.
• Partner with Product Development to maintain a central materials library for consistency.
• Analyze global market trends to minimize price volatility and inform procurement decisions.
• Lead supplier performance management to ensure quality assurance and ethical compliance.
• Create and implement risk mitigation strategies, including multi-sourcing initiatives.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Peru
• Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management within the Alpaca/Vicuña industry.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience building global supplier networks.
• Ability to analyze market trends and develop strategic procurement plans.
• Strong understanding of sustainability regulations and responsible sourcing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
