AI Specialist (Junior - Medior)

Location: Brussels, Belgium; hybrid working model

What you will do

• Analyse, develop, test, and deploy AI-driven solutions, proof-of-concepts, pilot projects, and production-ready applications.
• Contribute to enterprise AI platforms, chatbots, and related AI services through production rollout and continuous improvement.
• Automate and optimise document management, legal document tagging, and knowledge retrieval using AI technologies.
• Develop Generative AI solutions with large language models, embeddings, vector databases, open-source LLMs, and AI APIs.
• Translate business and technical requirements into scalable AI solutions and provide technical guidance to stakeholders.
• Prepare architecture documentation, reusable platform components, deployment processes, monitoring, scaling, and production support.

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
• Experience with Python and Java for data analytics and Artificial Intelligence.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI, large language models, embeddings, vector databases, open-source LLMs, and AI APIs.
• Knowledge of prompt design, evaluation, optimisation, and model behaviour analysis.
• Understanding of AI solution architecture, containerisation, private cloud environments, CI/CD, and MLOps.
• Excellent English communication skills are required for explaining technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with FastAPI, Spring Boot, Flask, Qdrant, and document processing solutions.
• Additional experience with SQL, ETL/ELT pipelines, data modelling, orchestration, data visualisation, business case analysis, or maturity assessments.
• Knowledge of French.
