Swapfiets is Europe’s leading bike subscription company, helping more than 250,000 members get around cities without the hassle of bike ownership. Their People & Culture team is looking for a People Specialist to support HR Operations in the Netherlands and ensure smooth, compliant, and people-focused employee experiences.

What you’ll do:
— own HR administration and payroll processes for the Netherlands
— act as the go-to expert on Dutch labor law and employment regulations
— advise employees and managers on HR policies, legislation, and people-related matters
— manage employee relations cases and coordinate with payroll providers, tax authorities, unions, and external partners
— improve HR processes, systems, and workflows using HiBob and Remote
— lead People Operations activities in the Netherlands and support HR projects
— collaborate closely with Finance, Tech, Data, and business stakeholders

What they’re looking for:
— fluent Dutch and English
— Bachelor’s degree in HR, Law, or a related field
— 3–5 years of experience in HR Operations or People Administration
— strong knowledge of Dutch labor law
— proven experience with HR administration and compliance processes
— proactive, detail-oriented, and structured approach to work
— ability to thrive in a fast-paced international environment
