What you will do

• Design, build, and optimize the media pipeline and services surrounding hirify.global's real-time core.
• Build distributed systems to ingest media from heterogeneous sources and export sessions.
• Shape the overall strategy regarding media features, formats, and codecs.
• Select algorithms and implementation approaches to balance performance, reliability, and quality.
• Support other teams building on media services and raise the overall system quality bar.
• Maintain operational excellence for production-grade media systems.

Requirements

• Experience building and operating production media processing services at scale.
• Strong grasp of distributed systems, including asynchronous pipelines and parallel processing.
• Ability to own technical work end-to-end from design through deployment and iteration.
• Comfort working with ambiguity, evolving requirements, and unfamiliar domains.
• Must be based in the United States.
