Senior Accountant (IoT)

TL;DR

What you will do

• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations including prepaids, accruals, WIP, and deferred revenue.
• Oversee sensor-level cost tracking, WIP, and fixed asset management.
• Manage accounts payable workflows and ensure accurate billing for customer accounts.
• Process capitalization entries and monthly cohort depreciation.
• Drive systems automation and support the migration to NetSuite.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3–6+ years of professional accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, specifically ASC 360, WIP, and fixed assets.
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Ability to work on-site in Arlington, VA as part of a hybrid team.

Nice to have

• CPA certification.
• Experience in hardware or IoT manufacturing environments.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite, QBO, Brex, or Mercury.
