TL;DR

Senior Customer Support Engineer (Networking): Acting as a technical partner for customers to ensure value from NetBox and its product suite with an accent on network automation and technical issue resolution. Focus on diagnosing complex deployment issues, managing the post-sale technical lifecycle, and translating customer needs into actionable product feedback.

Location: Remote (UK)

Salary: £75K – £85K + Equity & Bonus

What you will do

  • Act as the technical anchor for customers, participating in architecture reviews and planning sessions.
  • Own technical issues end-to-end, from diagnosis and reproduction to final resolution.
  • Manage the post-sale technical lifecycle, including onboarding and version upgrades.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to surface actionable customer feedback and feature requests.
  • Build runbooks and troubleshooting guides to reduce repeat escalations and improve processes.

Requirements

  • Experience with NetBox, DCIM, IPAM, and core networking concepts.
  • Proficiency with Docker (Compose), SQL, PostgreSQL, and the Linux command line.
  • Ability to work with Python, pip, and REST APIs.
  • Experience with GitHub or GitLab.
  • Must be based in the UK.

Nice to have

  • Kubernetes management and troubleshooting (kubectl).
  • Observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry.
  • SSO flow knowledge: OIDC, OAuth, SAML.
  • Experience with async messaging (Kafka, MQTT, AMQP, AWS SNS).
  • Network engineering fundamentals and automation workflows.
