Field Service Engineer (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Install, modify, and repair semiconductor equipment following SOP policies and procedures.
• Lead on-site installation, upgrade, testing, and repair of systems.
• Perform final configuration, functionality testing, and host customers for acceptance tests.
• Train hirify.global and customer personnel on equipment operation and maintenance procedures.
• Execute software and firmware upgrades and provide mentoring to less experienced staff.
• Interface with technical support and development engineering to address equipment design changes.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Engineering or a related technical area.
• At least 2 years of experience in a technical or field service position.
• Experience using test equipment, reading schematics, and tracing signals.
• Knowledge of fluid systems, vacuum, and electro-mechanical systems.
• Fluent in both English and German.
• Ability to travel at least 75% of the time internationally.
