TL;DR

Chief of Staff (Edtech): Driving the expansion of K-8 math education in the US with an accent on territory growth, GTM strategy, and operational scaling. Focus on building repeatable playbooks, leading consultative conversations with district leaders, and executing high-impact strategic projects.

Location: Must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area. 50% travel required.

Salary: OTE $170,000

What you will do

  • Grow the California territory by identifying priority districts and shaping territory strategy.
  • Lead consultative conversations with district leaders to introduce hirify.global's approach to math education.
  • Refine the go-to-market (GTM) motion and create a scalable playbook for district partnerships.
  • Build repeatable systems, processes, and tools to transition from founder-led hustle to sustainable execution.
  • Lead cross-functional special projects and support new market entry efforts.
  • Partner with the General Manager to translate priorities into actionable results.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in consulting, ops/strategy, investment banking, private equity, or early-stage startups.
  • Must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and execution skills.
  • Clear, confident written and verbal communication skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a high sense of ownership.

Nice to have

  • Experience in EdTech or mission-driven organizations.
  • Exposure to senior leadership or founder-led environments.
  • Comfort working with the public sector or school districts.
