TL;DR
Customer Success Manager (Legaltech): Managing a portfolio of law firms and in-house legal teams to drive adoption, expansion, and retention of an AI-native workspace with an accent on strategic advisory and complex rollouts. Focus on operationalizing the Customer Success playbook, mitigating churn, and translating client feedback into product improvements.
Location: On-site in Chicago (5 days per week)
Compensation: OTE $160K – $185K + Equity

What you will do
- Own the post-sale relationship from onboarding through adoption, expansion, and renewal.
- Lead complex rollouts in partnership with Legal Engineers to ensure measurable customer outcomes.
- Drive sustained product adoption via structured enablement programs and tailored success plans.
- Act as a strategic advisor to legal and operational leaders to align with client goals.
- Identify commercial opportunities to close renewals and drive account expansion.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to shape the roadmap based on client feedback.
Requirements
- 5+ years in management consulting, B2B SaaS client advisory, or the legal field.
- Proven track record of driving customer retention, satisfaction, and expansion.
- Exceptional change management, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
- Must be based in Chicago for full-time in-office collaboration (5 days per week).
- Ability to manage high-level conversations with legal executives and operational leaders.
- Comfortable using data and metrics to monitor customer health and outcomes.
