What you will do

• Lead medium-to-large platform initiatives end-to-end from discovery and design through rollout.
• Own and evolve the AWS platform, including EKS, RDS, and networking, using Terraform.
• Build internal Python libraries and Kubernetes tooling to enable engineer self-service deployments.
• Optimize CI/CD pipelines by creating reusable GitHub Actions workflows and enhancing rollback capabilities.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve developer experience (DevEx) and team enablement.
• Participate in an on-call rotation, managing observability and triaging production incidents.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform), CI/CD (GitHub Actions), and observability (Datadog, PagerDuty).
• Proven experience managing containerized workloads (Docker, Kubernetes, Lambda) within AWS.
• Professional proficiency in Python for scripting and infrastructure frameworks.
• Track record of building and supporting internal developer platforms as a product.
• Experience working in healthcare, health tech, or other regulated environments.
• Experience in fast-paced, early-stage startup environments.
