What you will do

• Implement and manage AWS cloud-native systems using automation and best-in-class tools.
• Operate and enhance Kubernetes clusters, deployment pipelines, and service meshes to support rapid delivery.
• Design and maintain a reliable, secure, and scalable multi-tenant SaaS infrastructure using Terraform.
• Define and maintain SLOs, SLAs, and error budgets while proactively addressing availability and performance issues.
• Build internal platform tools and automate runbooks, health checks, and alerting for operational efficiency.
• Act as an Incident Commander during on-call rotations, coordinating cross-team responses to maintain SLAs.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work in a hybrid model in Madrid, Spain.
• 5+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or Platform Engineer.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS (or GCP/Azure) and supporting SaaS products.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or Bash, and experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform).
• Expertise with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm ecosystems.
• Excellent written and verbal English skills.

Nice to have

• Exposure to compliance standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, or FedRAMP.
• Experience with chaos engineering or resilience testing practices.
• Experience with FluxCD or Crossplane.
