Inventory Receiving Technician

What you will do

• Receive and inspect incoming sample shipments from couriers and clients.
• Triage incoming samples based on testing type and turnaround time (TAT).
• Register samples accurately in the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and apply labels.
• Organize and distribute samples to the appropriate laboratory departments.
• Maintain accurate records of received samples and associated documentation.
• Ensure the sample receiving area remains clean and organized.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Dependability, punctuality, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team.

Nice to have

• Experience using LIMS or other data entry systems.
