What you will do

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to address anxiety, depression, grief, and financial toxicity.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention for behavioral health emergencies and end-of-life decisions.
• Identify and connect patients and families with critical community resources.
• Collaborate with oncologists, nurses, and specialists to ensure coordinated care.
• Advocate for patients with insurance companies and healthcare providers to access necessary services.
• Facilitate support groups and provide education on cancer-related topics.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Social Work from a CSWE-accredited program.
• Valid and current master’s level license (LISW, LCSW) in the state of practice.
• 3-5 years of experience in healthcare, preferably in oncology, palliative, or hospice care.
• Availability to work from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM EST.
• Comfort with using technology including Google Suite, Slack, and electronic health records.

Nice to have

• OSW-C or APHSW-C certifications.
• Experience working within a startup or tech-forward environment.
