What you will do

• Lead 24/7 security monitoring using SIEM platforms and advanced threat detection tools.
• Analyze security events, identify threats, and coordinate incident response and forensic activities.
• Proactively identify sophisticated adversaries through threat hunting and malware analysis.
• Ensure compliance with NIST 800-171, CMMC, DFARS, and ITAR requirements.
• Configure and maintain security tools including IDS/IPS, EDR, and DLP.
• Mentor junior analysts and collaborate with IT, engineering, and manufacturing teams on security initiatives.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or related technical roles.
• Expertise in SIEM (Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel) and EDR (CrowdStrike, Carbon Black).
• Deep knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK framework and adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures.
• Experience protecting Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) in highly regulated environments.
• U.S. Person status required to comply with ITAR regulations.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting defense manufacturing or operational technology (OT/ICS) environments.
• Experience securing embedded systems, avionics, autonomous systems, or weapon systems.
• Industry certifications such as Security+, CEH, CISA, or GIAC.
• Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or Engineering.
