What you will do

• Lead the technical strategy and implementation of growth initiatives to enhance user acquisition, retention, and overall customer experience.
• Drive frontend excellence, ensuring fast, accessible, and visually polished experiences while championing UI performance metrics (LCP, CLS).
• Lead architectural design and evolution for complex systems spanning multiple teams, aligning with long-term scalability and business goals.
• Mentor senior engineers and raise the bar for code quality, observability, and maintainability across the organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate technical direction with product strategy and roadmap priorities.
• Analyze performance metrics and user feedback to drive continuous technical and product enhancements.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience as a software engineer shipping production code.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Deep architectural expertise in designing scalable, resilient, and maintainable systems in modern environments.
• Proficiency in modern frontend frameworks (React, Next, GraphQL) and backend technologies (Node.js, Python).
• Proven track record of leading complex, cross-team initiatives and influencing without authority.
• Expertise in operational excellence, including observability, incident response, and risk mitigation.
