TL;DR

Software Developer (Python & CFML): Designing, developing, and maintaining web applications for the Euna Grants suite with an accent on the seamless integration of frontend and backend components. Focus on developing RESTful APIs, optimizing SQL database performance, and leveraging AI tools to accelerate the development lifecycle.

Location: Hybrid (3 days/week in Oakville, ON office: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)

Salary: $94,200 - $117,700

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Python and React.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to ensure seamless application integration.
• Collaborate with product and sales teams on software design, architecture, and implementation.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application defects.
• Participate in code reviews and present new implementation patterns to peers.
• Develop automated unit tests and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of professional experience with Python (Django or Flask) and React.
• Strong expertise in database design and management using SQL (Microsoft SQL Server & PostgreSQL).
• Proficiency with Git and Agile methodologies (JIRA, Confluence).
• 1+ years of experience utilizing AI tools to assist in the development process.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid from the Oakville, ON office.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of ColdFusion (CFML) frameworks such as ColdBox or Mach-ii.
• Experience with AngularJS.
• Understanding of security and OWASP best practices.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub), and Terraform.
• Professional experience supporting SaaS products in a production environment.
