What you will do

• Build and ship full-stack features end-to-end, from APIs and data models to UI components and tests.
• Develop backend services using Java/Spring Boot with a focus on transactional correctness, performance, and scalability.
• Create frontend applications using modern TypeScript/JavaScript frameworks to deliver intuitive workflows.
• Develop integrations with financial and CRM systems such as NetSuite, Salesforce, and Stripe.
• Write clean, test-driven code and contribute to automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Integrate AI-assisted coding tools (Claude Code, ChatGPT) into the daily development workflow.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in at least one of: Java, TypeScript/JavaScript, or Python.
• Strong grasp of CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, and SQL/NoSQL database concepts.
• Experience building non-trivial applications, including APIs or full-stack features.
• Familiarity with Git, Linux/CLI workflows, and cloud providers or Docker.
• Must be based in or able to work from the San Francisco Bay Area, CA or Toronto, Canada.

Nice to have

• Internship experience at a SaaS or B2B software company.
• Experience with Java + Spring Boot and building REST/GraphQL APIs.
• Knowledge of financial systems such as billing, payments, or ERPs.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Experience with test-driven development (TDD).
